This Construction Engineering and Inspection project consisted of resurfacing and safety improvements on I-95. The Project started at the Baldwin Bridge in Old Saybrook and terminated at Interchange 72 in East Lyme (Rocky Neck Connector in Old Lyme) for a total of 5.5 miles. This project included milling and overlay of the entire project limits, installation of concrete median barrier curb, upgrading the existing guiderail, and bridge safety-related improvements.

Completed Tasks

- All construction survey work.
- All survey, construction staking, and layout work necessary for the accurate installation of fencing.
- Providing information as directed by the Project Engineer all controls for relocations and installations.
- All work and measurements necessary.
- Inspection of all construction activities.
- All on-the-job testing and sampling of materials as specified.
- The performance of all necessary field density tests.
- Coordinating and implementation of all engineering, technical, or administrative determinations.
- Investigating and facilitating resolutions to technical problems or design issues.
