Facility / MEP Design

This Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) design project will provide preliminary and final design services for the replacement of nine (9) rooftop units (RTUs) and twenty (20) roof mounted exhaust fans at the Southampton Transit Police Station. The existing RTUs were installed in 1994, and are past their useful life and/or nonfunctional.

- Design of HVAC and plumbing, including gas connections.
- Design of the new campus-wide BMS, including monitoring existing systems such as energy metering of lighting systems and remote access.
- Design of retrofit details to maintain existing roof openings and temporary ventilation provisions for areas with ongoing occupancy during construction.
- Complete 30%, 60%, and 100% Design Development, including drawings, specifications, schedule, and estimating information.
- Provision of bid phase services and construction phase services.
- Field review of the proposed design and existing conditions.
